Shakespeare villains and comic book villains

I'm currently doing a dissertation on the possible influence and similarities of Shakespeare villains on/with comic book villains. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the subject or if you could point me in the direction of any useful books/websites/posts etc on the subject?
